Lachie is a Junior Commodity Advisor based in our South Australian office. Having grown up on his family’s farm at Manoora in the Mid North of South Australia, Lachie brings a genuine, grassroots understanding of the challenges and opportunities growers face. He completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science at the University of Adelaide in 2022.

Before joining Market Check in September 2026, Lachie gained valuable industry experience with Agfert, a fertiliser and chemical business and Pinion Advisory, an agribusiness consulting and grain marketing firm. These roles gave him a broad perspective on the agricultural sector and a strong appreciation of the commercial realities of running a farming business.

Outside of work, Lachie is a keen footy and cricket player and a passionate follower of most sports. He still makes regular trips back to the family farm to lend a hand wherever he can.

With his farming background and practical approach, Lachie is committed to helping growers make confident, well-informed marketing decisions.
