After beginning his career in merchant banking, Mark returned to regional New South Wales in 1991, where he built a long-standing career as an independent adviser specialising in grain marketing and commodity risk management. As co-founder of MarketAg, he developed a trusted reputation for helping growers navigate increasingly complex domestic and international markets.

Mark has extensive knowledge of the NSW and Queensland markets, underpinned by a deep understanding of how global commodity prices and market derivatives influence local grain values. His experience, combined with his long-standing relationships across the eastern Australian grains industry, makes him a valuable addition to the Market Check team as the business continues to grow its presence across the East Coast.
